Will handle all normal desktop tasks and older games very well. Some modern games on lower to medium settings are fine. For high settings on newer games such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey this CPU will create a severe enough bottleneck it will harm the game performance noticeably, which is what finally necessitated my upgrade.
