— A newer 750 Ti with somewhat lower power draw.

— A fan favourite and one of the best budget cards before Pascal gen budget-mid range cards came out.

— A good GTX 1060 3GB or RX 580 4GB alternative, if you can get past that only the first 3.5GB of this card's VRAM is usable.

— One of the better price to peformance cards to go with for high FPS 1080p gaming, or mid-high 1440p. (Other than maybe the 980 Ti as those go for cheaper, but would also lose out on driver support earlier than the 1070).

— Good alternative to equivalent AMD Polaris cards if you can find this for cheaper than them, (as this one comes with 2GB less VRAM, but is slightly more powerful as a tradeoff).
