— I had a 2GB EVGA card for about 2 years. It played everything I needed at high-max settings and consistently delivered 60fps. Again, I cannot speak to higher resolutions, as I have never played at them, but for 1080p gaming, this card is extremely good.
— Runs extremely hot. This was my old CPU, before I updated to an R5 1500X. The 6 Cores don't really made themselves known, even when rendering video. It would take nearly 45 minutes to render a 20 minute video at 1080p60. My new ryzen chip cuts that in half. In all honesty, this chip is just old and tired. If you can get it for suuuuuper cheap, and are going to overclock the hell out of it, go for it. But if you're looking to build a first PC, go with an intel chip of the same year or newer, or a new ryzen chip.
— To me this is a perfect card. Right price (Especially today on ebay), great performance, and it doesn't run terribly hot. For what I use it for, it is downright perfect. I don't play at crazy resolutions though, just 1080p so take that as you will.
