— The GTX 780 when it came out was one of the best cards available for consumers, nowdays thanks to the 3GB of Memory it can still play most games on Ultra settings at 1080p60, with a perfomance closer to a GTX 1060 3GB, is one of the best budget CPUs thanks to it low perfomance on cryptoming and higher power consumption.

— Although this GPU is hated, it has aged like a meme and is probably one of the worlds most common dedicated GPUs. On stock is pure gargabe, but when the memory is overlocked it can play many games at the lowest settings and 800x600 resolution with decent frame rates. Many people was iniciated in PC gaming thanks to this card, which is enough for games like Minecraft, Age of Empires III, The Sims 3, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Vice City, etc... and is able to deliver great perfomance in Half Life 2, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 Arena, etc... Just remember the main focus of this card was multiple monitors on office systems running Windows Vista back on the day. The lack of DirectX 11 and the same power draw as the GT 1030 DDR4 mostly killed this card.

— The Core 2 Duo T7200 is a mobile budget CPU from more than 10 years ago, it may be enough for web browsing and office but it is starting to show its age. Supports 64-bit computing and is the upgrade path for many laptops running mobile Celeron, Pentium, Core Solo and Core Duo proccesors. Gaming on this CPU will likely overheat your system, anyway, titles like Age of Empires III, Back to Castle Wolfenstein and The Sims 2 will ran fine if you don't relay on Intel GMA or HD graphics.

— The Core 2 Duo E6300 is a low end Core 2 Duo CPU released over than 10 years ago, it can deliver enough perfomance for office or web browsing, any way, if your board can run this CPU it also can the Pentium E6700 which is twice as powerfull and can be found for 4€ on sites like AliExpress. This CPU was shipped on many prebuilt systems back in the day and outperformed all the Pentium 4 lineup with half the power consuption.

— The Xeon X5450 is a high TDP Harpertown processor that can be fitted in many LGA 775 baords, it delivers the same perfomance as its low power counterpart, the Xeon E5450, if you're not into overcloking and if your board is compatible this CPU is a way to go thanks to its reduced price when compared to the E5450 or the Core 2 Quad Q9650. Most games will run fine but anything higher than a GTX 1050 Ti will be bottlenecked by this 10 year old chip.

— This Xeon CPU is based on the Harpertown architecture and can be modded to work in many mainstream LGA 775 boards, thanks to it's clock speed it delivers an great perfomance, but is outperformed by any Core i5 CPU on the same clock speed. Gaming-wise is one the best upgrade paths for LGA 775 if your board support it, for office or web browsing better consideer the Pentium E6700 or the Core 2 Duo E8500. Any GPU better than the GTX 1050 Ti will be bottlenecked by this CPU on modern AAA games. Most of them will be playable on constant 30 FPS. This CPU can be easily overclocked to 3.8GHz-4GHz if you have the right board, the perfomance incrase will be noticeable.

— Placed nowadays in the Core 2 Quad Q6600 perfomance, with a lower power draw and a lower cache as disvantage its and okay CPU that begans to age. This CPU was shipped in many mid-end prebuilt systems back in 2008. Most AAA games will suffer a poor perfomance when compared to a same clocked first generation desktop Core i5 CPU, if you're considering this as an upgrade the Xeon E5450 or X5450 will deliver higher perfomance for a similar price, check if your system is compatible.

AMD
R9 270X - Excellent
Graphics Cards

— The R9 270X is a rebranded HD 7870 with higher clocks, delivers the same experience, anyway this GPU is as powerful as the GTX 1050 2GB and it's highly recomended for budget 1080p60 gaming. This card can be Crossfired with another 270X, HD 7850 or HD 7870 and delivers a great perfomance in some games. DirectX 12 and Vulkan are supported. Most games can be run at High settings with MSAA.

AMD
HD 7870 - Excellent
Graphics Cards

— The HD 7870 was released on 2012 next to its little brother the HD 7850, while based on the same chip, the HD 7870 delivers higher perfomance thanks to a higher clock speed and higher shader count, great for a budget 1080p60 gaming experience, it delivers the GTX 1050 2GB perfomance with a little more power draw. DirectX 12 and Vulkan are supported and most games can be player on Medium or High settings, when paired with another 7870, R7 270X or 7850 the perfomance gains are amazing, but sadly Crossfire is not supported across all games and not all supported gaames deliver a satisfactory experience. It's XT variant is based on the Tahiti chip, from the HD 7950, and delivers even better perfomance thanks to a higher shader count but crossfiring outside another XT card, the R9 280 Series or the HD 7900 Series is not supported at all.
