The web browser everyone likes to hate on but everybody uses it
Faster, lighter and smoother than the rest.
This is the fastest browser at the moment, closely followed by firefox. Pros: Speed. Cons: Available addons.
The regular everyday browser that almost everyone uses now, versatile all around browser. Google might collect some of your browsing data but most users wouldn't be going to care about that data collection unless if they prioritise privacy.
Superb performance and extensions.
I spend a LOT of time browsing the web. Chrome saves me a lot of time with its superb page load speed, developer functions and extensions. Chrome is also one of the leaders in terms of supporting the latest HTML standards. Many web pages, images, graphics, animations etc work faster and smoother with chrome than any other browser. The only alternative I would consider is Firefox which is a superb runner up.
Chrome makes surfing a little be faster, it's deceptively simple on the surface but under the hood it's far more advanced than Internet explorer and even trumps firefox. Pros: Great support for new technology.
See how well your browser stacks up. Hit the link to run octane, google's javascript benchmark suite. On my PC Chrome scored 17311, Firefox scored 11046 and internet explorer 9.0, shockingly, failed to run it properly.
Google launch chrome for aliens :)
Useful and fast. It has tons of apps and extensions, as well as some cool features, but this browser doesn't supports Flash Player anymore (actually it does but not fully), it might be slow at times and it consumes A LOT of RAM Memory.
