A A measure of how responsive a Flash Drive is to typical user access patterns. Sandisk Extreme 64GB ≈ 100%.
There are several speeds associated with storage devices (sequential, random 4k, deep queue). It's necessary to make assumptions about the type of access patterns before assessing a drives performance. Most USB flash drives are used to backup and transport photo, audio and video files. These types of files are generally large and demand high sequential read and write speeds. The effective USB speed is weighted as 50% sequential read, 40% sequential write, 5% 4K read and 5% 4k write. These weights favour reading large files and somewhat downplay the importance of small 4K file operations.
