— Fantastic graphics card, the Asus ROG Strix model is the cream of the crop. Overclocks very well with low temperatures, and has excellent 1080p and 1440p performance with high FPS using maximum details in almost every game. Handles ray tracing better than expected, but unfortunately not at a high enough frame rate to take advantage of a high refresh rate monitor. If you're looking for a graphics card that will excel at ray traced gameplay or 4K resolution, then consider a used RTX 2080 Super/Ti or RTX 3070/3080. Otherwise, the RTX 2070 Super is one of the best options on the current market if it can be had for around $400 or less.
— The 9400F is a good option for those looking to game at 1080p and have a limited budget or simply don’t need a powerful processor. It has better memory performance and better (if not equal) single, dual, quad, and hexa core performance than comparable Ryzen processors, among other things, while also being about $15 cheaper than the Ryzen 5 2600 (as of yesterday). That extra $15 can easily be put towards something like well rated aftermarket cooler.
— FANTASTIC. It is literally a less expensive version of the 9600K because this one has no integrated graphics... hence the "F". No need to pay for a feature I don't need to use! Performance is incredible, I upgraded from a 9400F and the difference is actually noticeable. I now have much faster base and boost clock speeds, giving me faster load times and less stutters. Definitely worth the upgrade!
